R1 Muay Thai Phuket is the international expansion of Rama1 Muay Thai, one of Melbourne, Australia's most respected Muay Thai gyms. What started as a vision to build a world-class, inclusive training facility in Moorabbin has now grown into something bigger —bringing that same standard to the birthplace of Muay Thai itself.
Nestled in the Bangtao area of Phuket, R1 combines everything we've learned building a thriving gym community in Australia with the authenticity and tradition that only Thailand can offer. Same commitment to excellence, same welcoming culture —now with year-round tropical training.
